Search Warrant Leads to seizure 10 pounds of marijuana, a large quantity of THC oil, THC wax, hashish and over $100,000 in cash
EDITOR’S NOTE: The following article is written by Brevard Sheriff Wayne Ivey.
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Recently, the keen eye of two of our Deputies who had responded to a disturbance call, led to a large seizure of drugs, cash and weapons.
Deputy Chris Streiff and Deputy Elliott Edwards responded to a residence reference to a disturbance call and while searching for the suspect, the Deputies observed drug paraphernalia and marijuana.
Pursuant to their initial observation, the Deputies recognized that there was potentially more drugs in the residence and subsequently worked with Agents from our Special Investigations Unit, who responded to the scene and obtained a search warrant.
As a result of the search, 10 pounds of marijuana, a large quantity of THC oil, THC wax, hashish and over $100,000 in cash was seized.
The seizure was the direct result of our Deputies actions and I could not be more proud of them for their diligence in protecting our citizens.
Please join me in thanking Chris and Elliott for their outstanding efforts and for all they do to keep our community a safe place to call home!
