BREVARD COUNTY SHERIFF WAYNE IVEY: I am extremely proud to announce that the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office has once again been recognized as a “Best for Vets” Employer by “Military Times.”

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – I am extremely proud to announce that the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office has once again been recognized as a “Best for Vets” Employer by “Military Times.”

The annual “Best for Vets” rankings are the result of a meticulous and thoughtful evaluation process that identifies Law Enforcement agencies who go the extra mile to recruit, hire, and support our United States Veterans.

The rankings evaluate companies’ culture, veteran recruiting, veteran policies, and accommodations for members of the National Guard and Reserves.

BREVARD COUNTY SHERIFF WAYNE IVEY: The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is currently seeking certified Law Enforcement Officers to help us keep Brevard County safe. We are a large, extremely progressive agency and are proud of our exceptionally strong relationship with the citizens of Brevard County who we protect and serve each and every day.

“The companies on the Military Times Best for Vets list earned their rankings through determined efforts to recruit and support service members, veterans and military families,” said George Altman, the Military Times editor in charge of the rankings.

“These efforts deserve recognition from the country and should get the attention of veterans looking for a new career.”

I could not be more proud of our Career Development and Human Resource Units for all they do to recruit and hire our United States Veterans.

Our veterans proudly served their country and now they are proudly serving their community.

Please join me in thanking our veterans and active military personnel who have sacrificed so much in the protection of our great nation and our liberties!

– Sheriff Wayne Ivey
